About the President: Dr Ashfaq is a board certified General Surgeon who got his fellowship from Edinburgh Scotland in 1989 and worked as general surgeon for 18 years. He acquired a diploma in hospital management 1n 1999, worked as CEO of a 272 bed general hospital from 2000 up to 2008. In 2009 Dr Ashfaq took over an already running diagnostic laboratory which was started in 2001. Since 2009 he is lab running this lab and during these past 2 years he has significantly improved the functionality. Due to the many years of experience of working as a practicing doctor and also running a big hospital, Dr Ashfaq knew exactly what a physician would expect from a diagnostic lab. His past experience has tremendously helped in the improvement in quality and efficiency of the lab.
